Greetings and salutations!
My Thoughts on Art
Remember though, that just as with writing, art is power; power to move people, to invoke emotions, reactions, and fantasy. Artists in any field are gatekeepers of imagination and show people a world they have seen only in their mind's eye. This is true of creative and commercial art, for in the commercial world, art can hold even more sway. Art forms opinion, prompts decisions, and proclaims results.
A Pleasant Fiction
Then we were simply there, washed up on that foreign shore. And though we knew we were far from home, we felt no sadness and wished only to walk on those beaches for eternity. That was our dream, and for those briefest of moments, we strolled through the walkways of fantasy. We had been caught up in a joy we knew could not last, but that we would never forget it.....And even when we were shaken back to reality, even when we were ripped from dreams to nightmares, we left a part of ourselves on that shoreline, and it would remain with us, and we with it, for the rest of time.
With Hope,
Joseph
