Greetings and salutations!
To my friends and family around the world, to those who hold this holiday season in spiritual or religious regard and to those who do not, we (Takako and I) wish you the very best of the holidays, a merry Christmas, and a happy New Year! Our thoughts and prayers are with you all and we hope you will experience the warmth of God’s love as well as that of those you hold dear.
This will be my first Christmas as a married man and I am looking forward to it a great deal. In addition, we’ll be traveling to Okinawa over the New Year holidays to visit Takako’s (and now mine) extended family, most of whom I will be meeting for the first time. Whatever you might have planned for the holidays, I hope it is a time of sharing and joy.
