Greetings and salutations!

Some important updates:

My paternal grandfather was recently diagnosed as having a tumor growing between his liver and pancreas. At his age, 85, treatment options are quite limited as the likelihood of him surviving either surgery or radiation/chemotherapy is quite low. He was hospitalized briefly and we're still waiting on testing results which will determine his prognosis. We do know that he is suffering from discomfort and jaundice, not to mention the emotional difficulties involved. Please pray that the tumor is found to be benign and that he can either make a full, swift recovery or, if it comes to that, that he can pass quickly and without pain.

In more positive news, Jeremy and Kira Perdue recently welcomed their third child, Carys Aubrey Christine, into the world! Additionally, someone very close to me recently advanced to the interview stage of Project Runway Canada. Congratulations all around! :0)
