Greetings and salutations!

Ok, so I've managed to actually write another blog entry in less than a month since the previous one. A good thing? You be the judge...

The image to the left is a picture of one of the new promotional posters  out for The Dark Knight. There's a lot of really cool movie news out there but that's not what I've logged on to talk about. However, being in Israel as I am, I would be remiss if I didn't mention Adam Sandler's upcoming flick Don't Mess with the Zohan (check it out to see what I'm talking about).

The first thing is that, due to the previously discussed problems with my landlord, I am looking for another apartment in the immediate future. I may stay in Haifa or possibly relocate to another city. We'll see what happens.

I had a strange but entertaining dream last night. I was sitting in a retro styled diner having a long and detailed conversation with the artist formerly known as the Artist formerly known as Prince. Strange, no doubt...we talked about his music and the current state of the industry. We also talked about Prince Interactive - a game I actually played back in the day. This dream actually reminded me of a similar one I had a while back where I had a personal conversation under a bridge with Richard Branson. Good times...

Last week I had the privilege of attending a Hanukkah event in Kfar Saba with my good friend Tolik. It was a gathering of young messianic believers which was an energetically spiritual environment to observe and a nice change of pace. Through the invitation of a good friend of mine I was also able to attend a Finnish independence day celebration at the posh home of the nation's ambassador to Israel. It was a typical schmoozing affair but, again, a wonderful change of pace. You can catch some photos on my online album.

Additionally, I was very happy to receive some post/birthday/Christmas cards from friends abroad. I even received a package of all sorts of Japanese goodies like Pocky, Ramen, etc. Reminders of how much I actually miss Osaka....

Anyway the next big thing on the horizon is my Christmas pilgrimage to Bethlehem. I managed to get a hotel and I am pretty excited about this trip - as it will be spiritually significant, place me in an area of organized chaos, and allow me to mix with a more Arab crowd, which is something I've wanted to do since I arrived here. The clock is ticking...

But I think that's all I have to report for now. You may have noticed that I did finally make the jump to Blogger's new template system. I think I like this shorter, more conversational post format...but we'll see how things go, as always...

With Hope,
Joseph
