Greetings and salutations!
My World
People often ask me what my passion is. I'm not really sure how to respond to such inquiries; not entirely sure what qualifies something as a passion but, to the best of my knowledge, these are the things I would consider to be my passions (in no particular order):
- travel
- writing
- dreaming/exploring
- relationships

I've been having some annoying tech troubles lately. Just before Christmas my MP3 player freaked out and I lost close to 3000 MP3s. Around the same time my monitor bit the dust. I managed to recover most of the music, and I picked myself up a new Samsung 913v 19" LCD monitor - so that's cool at least.
A friend of mine recently commented, "while I find your writing to be undeniably open, honest, and daring, I can't escape the feeling that you're hiding something from me, and the entire world." I found that comment to be quite provocative.
Quotes
"I was outside of faith; I was lost. The vampire was a perfect metaphor for that. Christ was looking for me. I read myself into belief, and then found the gift of faith."It's not a matter of following doctrine; it's a matter of believing that Jesus Christ is the Son of God."
- Anne Rice

Fictional Dreams
In the luring hours
Those first and frigid of the day
I leave behind my dreaming
A rending more than words can say
They miss me there as I do them
Yet sad as I might be
I know that come the evening
They'll be waiting there for me
A comfort in a daylight world
Of those who come and go
My refuge is a place of solace
A peace the earth can never know
-----------------------------------------
In truth I lost her long before the falling
And in the many now quiet moments
I have come to know the heart of longing
Caught up in memories held in her arms
And waking alone in realization
That even gone, I am held captive by her charms
With Hope,
Joseph

There was a time in my life, Joe (nameth) that your words seriously and profoundly etched part of my life that was not included in the letter sent to many. Know that joeseph is in my heart, and rabid dogs could not tear out the impact you made.
