MY LIFE
There is actually some news here. While Venice might be on hold, Israel may be back on the docket for November. While I won't get into the details here and now, I'm looking for any resources or contacts anyone may have to Israel. My car is still up for sale if anyone is looking. That's a '94 BMW 325i - 4 Door/RWD/Auto/Fully Loaded and in great shape! I've hooked up with Inner Sanctum, a group that puts on massive Halo 2 tourneys in Calgary - look for more on this soon.
THE WORLD
I just want to send a shout out to those friends and family of mine presently abroad.
Love you guys!
MOVIES
I think I forgot to mention this before. If you've seen Mr & Mrs Smith, keep a close eye on the hotel featured toward the end of the film - that's the Motel deVille - and that is the hotel we stayed in at this year's E3 - very cool! On a side note, I find it horribly depressing that the morals and social dynamics of Hollywood seem to be illustrated as being more and more significant - more and more a twisted metaphor for what life is supposed to be or not to be. Seriously people, must we worship the false lives of others rather than living our own properly? The media is a large shareholder in this digression, to be sure.
Stealth was a visually stunning, boring, over extended film; while Charlie and the Chocolate Factory entertained immensely and likely grabs the spot of 3rd best movie I've seen this year! While not movies, yet also tremendously entertaining, this month I finally checked out Lineage II and FEAR. Lineage II is certainly the most beautiful MMORPG I've experienced, while FEAR is, without doubt, the creepiest game I have ever played. You can see examples of these games below.
