Greetings and salutations!
More blog goodness hot off the non existent press!
Israeli police battled Palestinian demonstrators and Jewish extremists outside the Temple Mount in Jerusalem yesterday. Thankfully, calm was restored and no one was injured, but this is merely a taste of what is to come as Israel attempts to evacuate hundreds of settlements in Gaza and the West Bank. In other news, Tiger Woods once again made history today with an incredible comeback effort to take the Green Jacket at this year's Masters.
Just in case you ever wondered what REALLY constitutes one second:
Satellites rely on the Cesium atom, which has only one naturally occurring stable isotope
namely 133 Cs. The transition between two energy levels of the ground state of this specific isotope corresponds to 9,192,631,770 cycles of the radiation which is exactly 1 second according to International System of Units (SI).

In a piece of very sad news, my condolences go out to all those grieving the recent loss of LCC student Justin Jennings. I have been informed that a memorial service is being held in Calgary April 15th. I pray that all Justin's loved ones would remain...
With Hope,
Joseph
