Greetings and salutations!

I know it's been a while, but finally I have found some time to make an update; so let's just get to it.

Lots of stuff happening out there in the news lately. I'm actually not going to address the news at this time, and there are no Amazon listings this week; sorry. The 5th Estate did an investigation of sorts into Benny Hinn...televangelists....not sure much more needs to be said *S* I usually despise PETA, but the released a video of animals being skinned alive in China last week. At one point, a bloodied, skinless dog piled on top of many carcasses, looks right into the camera...it really got me. I don't think I could ever buy anything with fur involved somehow. I thought it was amazing that a conglomerate made a $3 Bil. offer to buy the entire NHL and turn it into a franchise system (for real though). They should have done it.

Check out this video of a man being slammed by a PT Cruiser in Dayton, Ohio.

I've been playing Battle for Middle Earth on my PC. Last week I played the Helm's Deep level where you have to defend the Hornburg against literally thousands of Orcs. I got my ass handed to me many times over, but you'll never guess how I beat it. In the end, all it took was one man...or...one dwarf. Gimli was the only one left alive, so I used him to run out, attack a group of Orcs, run away, heal, attack, and so on. I figured this would last a whole 2 minutes, but I took out ALL the enemies!! I couldn't believe it and I seriously doubt anyone else has accomplished this. Maybe I should get a hold of EA Games *S*

She walks in such a lovely disgrace
Joyous in its amoral enterprise
She holds a twisted world on a gnarled string
Wrapped 'round her delicate finger
And she smiles as it spins in her shadow

Though I have the obvious advantage of hindsight, I'm uncertain we could have done anything differently, all those years ago. The streets were quiet in a rain soaked darkness and I was enjoying the ambiance of the evening. Never one to lock myself away from the elements, I had gladly taken to the cold night, eager to stretch my legs.

With Hope,
Joseph
