Spin'n a little entertainment review....

I finally saw the movie "King Arthur" today, and well it had some weak points (shoddy digital work, plot holes, etc.) I thoroughly enjoyed the film much more than I expected to. It's not the story of Arthur we're all used to, and it's not as historically sound as the film makers would have us believe, but it was exciting, touching, and beautiful. There's certainly shades of Braveheart and it steals about from Jack White's "Winds of Eagles" series...but it's good entertainment! Hans Zimmer is quickly becoming a favorite composer of mine and Stellan Skarsgård makes a fantastic impression with a small part as the Saxon leader...anyway...check it out if you haven't all ready.
