Greetings and salutations!
Impending Doom
I find it very interesting to have discovered that Numazu, the city to which I'll soon be moving, lies on a fault line that has been predicted to experience a massive earthquake. These predictions have been made for nearly 30 years and popular opinion seems to be that the disaster could happen at any time. Here's where the story gets even more interesting! Numazu is right on the coast, which means Tsunamis, and right beside Mt. Fuji, which means landslides and potential volcanic activity. All this without consideration of the following aftershocks, fires, and general chaos....sounds like fun.
I know I like to be where the action is, but this might be cutting it a little close....and people thought Israel was dangerous!
